Its main goal is to provide meaningful teaching without compromising the quality of patient care. The flow of ideas and procedures is detailed in a simplified way to guide learners to master the essence of each medical condition.
Inpatient Medicine Handbook is organized into four specific sections. The first one is titled fundamentals and includes chapters on basic medical knowledge not specifically linked to a specialty. The third and largest section discusses essential topics that are the most common problems encountered in inpatient medicine.
